My name is Elaine and I live in the North East. I have always loved drawing and painting, and becoming a professional artist was a childhood dream. After nearly two decades of teaching in primary schools, where my favourite lesson was to teach art, I decided to commit fully to a career that incorporated two of my great loves: art and animals

PRODUCTS:

I work with charcoal and offer two styles of portrait.

‘Detailed’, as the name suggests, offers more detail in the drawing and gives a more realistic image of your pet

‘Impression’ is drawn using a looser technique. These portraits capture the character of your pet, with a softness and more ‘spontaneous’ style that many clients prefer

PRICES:

Portraits come mounted and are A4 in size (including the mount). Prices include postage and package. To enable me to work in enough detail, I can only draw one pet per portrait.

THE PROCESS:

Attach photo during order process or email photographs of your pet to enquiries@zimmpetportraits.co.uk

PLEASE REMEMBER TO INCLUDE YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS IN THE EMAIL

To create the best pet portrait possible I require high quality photographs to work from.

High resolution photographs which show the unique details of your pet such as the fur, eyes, markings etc. are perfect. If possible, I prefer 3 or 4 images to work from.

Portrait is completed Once I have received your photos, the portraits usually take around two weeks to complete. However, please let me know by email if you require the portrait by a specific date, as I will try to accommodate this whenever possible. Christmas is a particularly busy period, so I ask that all orders be made and photographs sent on or before 15th November.
Portrait is posted Once completed, I will post your portrait using Royal Mail 1st class, signed for delivery. You will receive email confirmation that your portrait has been posted.
